Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect through lebab.ro, why, and what rights you have. It applies to the website only. For bookings made through the reservation widget and for online orders, the operators of those services have their own policies, linked below.
Who we are
The data controller is Avant and Partners SRL, the company that operates Le Bab in Bucharest. Registered office: Str. Județului 11, bl. 19, sc. 1, ap. 24, Bucharest, sector 2, 023755. Trade Register no. J40/16310/2018, tax identification RO40144412. For anything about your data, write to office@lebab.ro.
What we collect and why
Enquiry forms (private events, catering). We collect the details you type in: name, email address, phone number, the date and size of your event and anything you add in the message. We use them to reply to you and to prepare a quote. Legal basis: the steps needed before a contract, at your request.
Table bookings. Bookings are made through the ialoc reservation widget. The data you enter there (name, phone, email, party size, time) is processed by ialoc as an independent controller, under their own policy, and shared with us so we can seat you. See ialoc.ro for their terms.
Online orders. The Order page links to ordering platforms that are not part of this website. What you enter there is governed by their policies.
Newsletter. If you give us your email address in the footer form, we keep it to send you news about Le Bab. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us.
Phone and email. If you call or write to us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request.
Cookies
Essential cookies. Our hosting provider, Webflow, sets cookies that are needed for the site to work and to protect its forms. They do not track you across other sites.
Consent preference. When you choose Accept or Deny in the cookie banner, we store that choice in a cookie so we do not ask again. It expires after 12 months.
Analytics and marketing cookies. We do not set any at the moment. If we add them, they will load only after you choose Accept in the banner, and this policy will be updated.
Who sees your data
Webflow, Inc. (United States), which hosts this website and stores form submissions. Transfers outside the EU are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Our email provider, for messages sent to office@lebab.ro.
Our staff who handle events, catering and reservations. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and the correspondence around them: for as long as we need them to deal with your request and to serve you again if you come back; we do not keep them indefinitely. Newsletter addresses: until you unsubscribe. Accounting records that contain personal data (invoices for events and catering): 10 years, as required by Romanian law.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to confirm what data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, to give it to you in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to office@lebab.ro; we answer within one month.
You also have the right to complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP, at dataprotection.ro.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top.
